Hearing Test

Service Description

The hearing screener is a 4 frequency band test, at 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, and 4000 Hz. Its patient friendly and easy to use, using headphones to determine any hearing loss. Test will assess how well you hear different sounds. Your either pass or fail this test and the results will determine the next steps. Upon completion of the results, these will be shown and explained regarding your levels of hearing in both your left and right ear. Any patients that have results that are below the normal hearing range (0-20 dBHL), depending on the severity, may be advised to contact a qualified audiologist for a full diagnostic audiogram.
